Claire is a senior associate and heads up the Succession, Wills & Tax team in Wales. Claire has extensive tax planning experience, advising clients on trusts, wills and lifetime planning. James is head of our Succession, Wills and Tax team in the Thames Valley. He handles all aspects of wills and tax planning for private and business clients and has a significant trusts and estates practice. James studied at King's College London and Cambridge, and practised in London and Newbury before joining Morgan Cole's Oxford office in 2007. He is a member of the Law Society's Private Client Section and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Kathryn Woodward |

Kathryn joined Morgan Cole in December 2007 and is based in Oxford. She has experience in dealing with wills, probate and related tax matters, as well as creation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney. Kathryn specialises in applications to the Court of Protection. She is a member of the Solicitors for the Elderly and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is the current secretary for the Thames Valley Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Kathryn qualified as a Notary Public in 2010.

Jean joined the firm in 1976. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and is based in our Cardiff office. Jean specialises in dealing with all aspects of the administration of estates, to include all related Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax issues. She also deals with the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and their registration. Jean is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Sue joined the firm in 1997 and began working in the probate department in 2000 as a secretary. She deals with the administration of estates and specialise in administering estates for deceased’s clients who do not have any close family, helping with arranging the funeral, visiting the property to collect the papers and arranging the clearing.
