Children

When parents separate there are lots of things to consider in relation to the children such as with whom they should live and how much of their time they will spend with each parent.

Sometimes parents also need help with guidance on education, health, religion, or one parent moving away.

Financial arrangements for the children will also need to be considered.

If agreement is not possible the court has a range of powers to promote the best interests of your children in resolving disagreements. The most usual orders the court is asked to make include parental responsibility (natural or step parent or civil partner) residence, contact and financial provision.
